Amazon Launches $5.99 Sleep Studio for Echo Kids Speakers

Sleep Studio is now live on Echo and Echo Kids devices for Amazon Kids Plus subscribers, adding bedtime stories, relaxing sounds and guided meditations aimed at easing kids into sleep.
The $5.99-a-month feature lets adults set playlists and sleep schedules in the Amazon Kids Parent Dashboard, while children can also start it by saying, “Alexa, play Sleep Studio.”
A 30-minute wind-down routine starts automatically before a child’s scheduled bedtime, and Echo Glow can use color-coded lights to signal when it is time to sleep or get up.
Amazon said the content draws from partners including Headspace, Moshi and Calm, extending its push to make Echo devices more useful for family routines and child-focused subscriptions.
