June 12 is the launch date for Marvel Rivals Season 8.5, with Cyclops leading the midseason update as a new Duelist built around precision visor beams, a bouncing scattershot attack and a backward-dash mobility skill.
Cyclops’ ultimate fires a charged beam that detonates in a straight line, damaging characters and objects and giving the roster a rarer anti-air threat against flying heroes.
Season 8.5 also adds the K'un-Lun: Shenloong Arena map and Bounty Annihilation, a new 18v18 mode that expands the game’s largest-scale battles.
June 12-26, NetEase will reopen the 616 Vault to bring back event costumes from July through September 2025, alongside a summer event with new swimsuit skins and the Hellfire Bay Beach social hub.
