A 784mAh rated battery—likely marketed as 800mAh—will power Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, pointing to a much larger endurance jump than earlier Ultra models.
That cell is 35% bigger than the 590mAh battery used in the 2024 and 2025 Galaxy Watch Ultra, and paired with a new Snapdragon Wear Elite chip could push battery life beyond three days.
Samsung is also preparing the Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch 9 Classic; the 40mm Watch 9 is tipped to use a 382mAh battery, or 400mAh typical, up 23% from the Watch 8 40mm.
All three watches are expected to debut alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Z Fold 8 late next month, with sales starting in August 2026.
