Samara’s Kuibyshevsk refinery was reported burning after at least 29 drones attacked, while fires also broke out at a fuel tank in Rostov and two industrial sites in Vladimir.
Crimea also cut nighttime train schedules after a Monday drone strike on the Moscow-Simferopol line killed a locomotive assistant, wounded the driver and forced eight passenger trains to halt.
The widening attacks are straining Crimea’s logistics and fuel supply at the start of the holiday season, with local reports saying civilian gasoline sales have been suspended and rationed.
