Summary
Thief: The Dark Project Remastered is set for PC and consoles this winter, bringing Looking Glass' 1998 stealth classic back with updated visuals and modern controls.
Nightdive said the remaster folds in the extra missions, enemies and story content from 1999's Thief Gold while upgrading textures, models, animations and some original level design.
New quality-of-life features include a weapon and item wheel, mission selector, controller support, achievements and built-in support for custom campaigns.
The release continues Nightdive's run of reviving classic immersive sims after its work on System Shock, aiming to modernize a landmark stealth game without changing its core design.
