Summary

Team doctor Morten Boesen said Eriksen was briefly unconscious, quickly regained consciousness and walked from the field himself before further hospital tests to determine the cause.
The match in Odense was abandoned with Denmark leading 2-1 as medics treated Eriksen on the pitch and players from both teams formed a protective ring around him.
The incident was Eriksen’s second on-field collapse in five years after his 2021 cardiac arrest at the European Championship, which led to him receiving an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator.
