The 33-year-old singer was pushing back on online claims that he left town before officials confirmed the cancellation, calling the speculation “nonsense” and saying he acted on the information he had.
Hours earlier, Wallen had told fans there was “no choice” but to cancel because severe adverse weather was expected through the day and night, framing safety as the top priority.
The explanation followed a backlash on social media, where some fans and local commentators questioned whether conditions justified the decision and alleged he had already departed Pittsburgh.
The dispute adds to a turbulent week for Wallen, coming days after fan video showed him flipping over a malfunctioning piano during a performance.
