Pokémon GO Fest Suspends Museum Campus Play Through Sunday as Chicago Events Overlap

Saturday gameplay was halted for part of the day and all of Sunday east of South Michigan Avenue, from south of Grant Park to just past East Cermak Road.
Organizers tied the suspension to overlapping activity around the Museum Campus, where Beyond Wonderland runs Saturday and Sunday and a USA soccer match was played at Soldier Field.
The shutdown includes Pokémon GO play and the GO Fest pop-up at the Field Museum, though the museum's Pokémon Fossil Museum exhibit remains open.
Grant Park and other Chicago play areas are still operating as the three-day festival, marking Pokémon GO's 10th anniversary, continues through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
