Summary
A nearly 20-minute Future Games Show demo gave the clearest look yet at Exodus, centering on a Paladin/Immortal morality system that lets players shift alignment through choices and companion-backed decisions.
Chris King said both extremes and hybrid playstyles unlock distinct rewards, while Paladin standing improves persuasion and Immortal standing strengthens intimidation options.
Archetype also clarified that time-dilation will not affect routine travel: it triggers only on rare deep-space "Exodus" missions, where near-light-speed journeys create major sacrifices and long-term consequences back home.
The footage also highlighted Jun Aslan's Celestial gauntlet powers, companion interactions, and awakened-animal allies including Houston the wolf and Salt, an octopus in a mech suit.
Exodus is due in early 2027 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X, with Archetype pitching an emotionally heavy sci-fi RPG in the mold of Mass Effect.
