D-Wave Lands $10 Million Fortune 100 Deal as Quantum App Enters Daily Production

$10 million over two years is tied to a Fortune 100 customer that has already moved its first D-Wave application into daily production use, marking a shift from pilots to operational deployment.
Alan Baratz said the application now runs as part of the customer's regular business operations, and D-Wave is working with that client on several additional production candidates.
Four production systems currently support D-Wave's Leap cloud platform, giving the company annual QCaaS revenue capacity of about $100 million to $120 million, CFO John Markovich said.
D-Wave framed the contract as evidence that commercial quantum computing is becoming viable now, helped by its offering of both annealing and gate-model systems.
