Internal One UI 9 builds have surfaced on Galaxy S25 phones about two weeks earlier than expected, suggesting Samsung may be moving faster than usual on the next software update.
June timing matters because the first One UI 8 build for that lineup was only seen on June 19 last year, making this year's sighting notably earlier even without a disclosed build number.
The leak does not show how far development has progressed, and the Galaxy S25 version is still expected to trail software work on the current Galaxy S26 flagship range.
Tarun Vats said a One UI 9 beta for Galaxy S25 phones could arrive this month or next, potentially pulling Samsung's testing schedule forward.
