Summary
Eight premium RTX Spark laptops due in the next few months were ranked after hands-on testing, with the Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra and Asus ProArt P14 placed in S-tier.
Surface Laptop Ultra stood out for its 16-inch premium design and haptic touchpad, while the 14-inch ProArt P14 won praise as a more portable MacBook Pro rival with OLED and strong ergonomics.
Three models landed in A-tier: MSI's Prestige Flip N16 AI+ for its 2-in-1 design and stylus, Asus' larger ProArt P16, and HP's Omnibook X 14, which lost points over its keyboard feel.
B-tier included HP's Omnibook 16 Ultra, Lenovo's Yoga Pro 9N and Dell's XPS 16 Creator Edition, largely because of weight, less distinctive design or keyboard concerns rather than weak specs.
Pricing remains the biggest unknown before launch; Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said Spark is the top chip in a broader family, but the flagship configuration could be expensive given the $5,000 DGX Spark mini AI PC.
