Rabi has rolled out the free FarmersAid app to guide farmers and other first responders through 10 common on-farm emergencies before paramedics reach remote sites.
The tool was developed with University of Lancashire rural emergency medicine experts and gives step-by-step instructions for incidents including machinery entrapment, crushing, electric shock, burns, drowning and falls.
Rabi says the first 10 minutes after a serious accident are critical in rural areas, so the app uses large buttons, simple prompts and location-sharing to help users act under pressure.
Launched at the Royal Cornwall Show on 4 June, the app is available on Apple and Google stores and will be promoted at agricultural events across the UK this summer.
The push comes as farming remains disproportionately dangerous, accounting for about 20% of UK workplace deaths despite representing roughly 1% of the workforce.
