Summary
Retailer promo materials leaked via WinFuture show Microsoft's next consumer Surface Pro moving to a 13-inch OLED-only display and a 12-core Snapdragon X2 Elite chip.
The new tablet pairs that processor with an NPU rated at up to 80 TOPS—up from 45 TOPS in the current X1 line—and Microsoft claims up to 15.5 hours of video playback.
Configurations listed include 16GB or 32GB of RAM, 256GB to 1TB of removable PCIe Gen4 SSD storage, plus two USB4 Type-C ports supporting charging, data and up to three external monitors.
The exterior appears largely unchanged, with Black, Platinum and Dune color options and matching Alcantara keyboards, while a similarly equipped Surface Laptop is also expected.
Microsoft has not disclosed pricing, but earlier leaks pointed to a June 16 unveiling, two years after the previous-generation Surface Pro launch.
