Summary
Agus Andrianto told Immigration and Correction staff to fully support the KPK investigation, saying the ministry will cooperate and keep public services running normally.
The ministry has opened access to data, documents and other information for investigators, and deactivated officials caught up in the case to prevent interference with the legal process.
The KPK said the June 2-3 sting at the West Jakarta Class I Special Immigration Office targeted alleged bribery in foreign residence permits, including KITAP and KITAS applications.
Seventeen people were arrested — eight state officials or civil servants and nine private intermediaries — in what the KPK described as its 11th sting operation of 2026.
The case has reached senior immigration ranks, with those named including West Jakarta office head Ronald Arman Abdullah, official Jaya Saputra and former acting immigration director general Saffar Muhammad Godam.
