Google Photos Android Adds Sticker Folder in Version 7.78, Reaching iOS Feature Parity

Summary
Version 7.78 of Google Photos for Android is rolling out a new Sticker folder in the Collections tab, automatically saving stickers users create by long-pressing an image.
The folder appears near the top of Collections after the Places map and opens a reverse-chronological grid, where tapping a sticker shows a larger preview with delete and copy options.
Google first added the folder on iOS in January after bringing stickers to iPhone and iPad in August 2025; Android got sticker creation in February and now matches that setup.
That parity arrives as Pixel Studio is being phased out on Google devices, with Google Photos positioned as the broader sticker tool for all Android users.
