EU Sanctions 4 Israeli Groups and 3 Leaders Over West Bank Violence Claims

Summary
Four Israeli civil society groups and three senior figures were sanctioned by the EU, which said they facilitate, finance or support activities tied to settler violence and serious abuses against Palestinians in the West Bank.
The EU said the targeted organizations also undermine prospects for a Palestinian state; one named group, Regavim, was accused of lobbying for demolition of Palestinian property, including an EU-funded school near Bethlehem.
Israel's Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel condemned the move as anti-Zionist political targeting, saying the groups oppose a two-state solution through legal and parliamentary work rather than violence.
Regavim said the demolished school was built illegally on Israeli state land in Area C and was unsafe, arguing the EU and Palestinian Authority use such projects to expand de facto control in territory under full Israeli administration.
The clash deepens a wider dispute over Area C, where Israel last month approved measures against what it says are Palestinian Authority attempts to create parallel land claims and alter facts on the ground.
