Shawn Ryan Denounces Trump Over $1.776 Billion IRS Deal and $400 Million Qatar Jet

Shawn Ryan, a pro-Trump podcaster before the 2024 election, said on his show that Trump’s administration looks “self-serving” and accused the president of exploiting office for personal gain.
Ryan pointed to a $1.776 billion settlement of Trump’s $10 billion IRS lawsuit, saying it effectively barred future tax investigations of Trump and his family, and also cited a $620 million Pentagon loan tied to a Trump-linked drone company.
He added a $400 million luxury jet from Qatar and a costly MAGA allies’ club to his list, arguing major conservative outlets such as Fox News were not fully airing the allegations.
Megyn Kelly, appearing as Ryan’s guest, agreed with his criticism of Trump’s Iran war but defended the lawsuit as a matter of principle after what she called Biden-era DOJ persecution; Ryan rejected that justification.
Ryan’s break adds to a widening split between Trump and some former MAGA media backers, as the Iran war has killed at least 13 U.S. troops, more than 3,000 Iranians and driven up gas prices.
