Xreal, Google Detail 70° Project Aura XR Glasses for 2026 Launch

Project Aura is shaping up as a wired Android XR headset-glasses hybrid, with Xreal and Google confirming a 2026 release but no price or exact launch date yet.
Its headline spec is a 70° field of view—well above Xreal One Pro's 57° and Viture Beast's 58°—along with 6DoF tracking, electronic dimming and a see-through design.
The glasses rely on a separate compute puck about the size of a smartphone, reportedly carrying a 4,455mAh battery, an unnamed Snapdragon chip and a touchpad for pointer control.
Eye tracking appears absent, and pricing remains the key open question: Xreal One Pro sells for $559, while a sub-$1,000 Aura price would likely be seen as competitive.
