MLB.com’s June rankings kept Atlanta at No. 1, with the Braves leading a stable top five of Braves, Dodgers, Brewers, Yankees and Rays entering the month.
Ronald Acuña Jr.’s surge helped cement Atlanta’s spot: he homered in four straight games, piling up five homers and four steals over that stretch.
Seattle made the biggest move near the top, climbing from No. 15 to No. 7 after reclaiming first place in the AL West, with 16 of its first 19 June games against sub-.500 teams.
The top five could stay intact for a while, with none of those clubs scheduled to face each other until a Dodgers-Rays series in about two weeks.
