Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Utah Gov. Spencer Cox joined the Kentucky Senate and Glendale, Arizona's mayor in formally recognizing June as "Fidelity Month."
The movement was founded in 2023 by Princeton professor Robert P. George after a Wall Street Journal poll showed declining commitment to religion, patriotism, having children and community involvement.
Sanders' May 29 proclamation said the month gives residents a chance to renew commitments to God, family, community and country, framing those values as central to social stability and human flourishing.
Organizers describe Fidelity Month as a grassroots effort rather than a top-down campaign, saying engagement, event attendance and support from groups and elected officials have grown steadily since its launch.
