Justin Gaethje intensified his feud with Ilia Topuria by mocking the champion's recent divorce, saying, "I would leave him" in comments to Fox Australia.
The jab came as Gaethje dismissed Topuria as a "gimmick" obsessed with calling himself king and bringing roses to beaten opponents, pushing their pre-fight trash talk into family matters.
Their lightweight title unifier is set for June 14 at UFC Freedom 250 on the White House South Lawn, where Gaethje will bring the interim belt he won against Paddy Pimblett in January.
Topuria has not fought since knocking out Charles Oliveira in June 2025 for the vacant 155-pound title; the interim belt was created while he was unavailable to defend during the divorce.
