Apple Names 12 Winners for 2026 Design Awards Ahead of WWDC

Apple unveiled 12 winners of its 2026 Apple Design Awards, choosing six apps and six games from a field of 36 finalists before next week’s WWDC.
Six categories each produced one app winner and one game winner: Delight and Fun, Inclusivity, Innovation, Interaction, Social Impact, and Visuals and Graphics.
Named winners include grug and Is This Seat Taken? for Delight and Fun, Guitar Wiz and Pine Hearts for Inclusivity, and NBA: Live Games & Scores and Blue Prince for Innovation.
Apple said the awards recognize developers delivering standout experiences across intuitive features, gameplay, accessibility, and design on its platforms.
