Google’s June Android Drop adds seven features centered on safety, personalization and sharing, led by fake call detection that warns when scammers appear to be calling from a trusted contact.
The scam alert works on Android 12+ devices using Phone by Google, while Circle to Search now lets Android 14+ users identify an entire outfit without leaving an app.
Next week, Google Photos starts rolling out a digital wardrobe in the U.S., India and Brazil for eligible Android 10+ users, automatically cataloging clothes from photo libraries.
Kids under 13 will soon get Personal Safety app tools including lock-screen medical info, emergency contacts and car crash detection, while teens gain Safety Check and live location sharing.
The broader drop also brings AI reading aids to select English Play Books titles, Quick Share support for more Android-to-iPhone transfers, and new Emoji Kitchen combinations ahead of Android 17.
