Page Six reported in April that Swift and Kelce instead chose New York City for a July 3 ceremony, after earlier Rhode Island speculation centered on the Ocean House in Watch Hill.
A source previously said the couple were looking outside Rhode Island to accommodate more attendees, undercutting rumors tied to Swift's nearby Westerly vacation home.
Ocean House had already denied a December claim that Swift bought out another bride's June 13 date, leaving Rhode Island as a recurring but unconfirmed wedding rumor.
