Emails confirmed by Spurs Sports and Entertainment show the team is immediately revoking season-ticket memberships tied to unauthorized resale of NBA Finals seats and refunding any deposits for next season.
The notices say accounts were identified listing tickets on unofficial secondary-market sites, violating terms the team says were communicated throughout the season and again when playoff and Finals tickets went on sale.
The crackdown lands as San Antonio returns to the Finals for the first time in 12 years against the New York Knicks, with the cheapest listed Game 1 seats at Frost Bank Center priced at $959 before fees.
That pricing has fueled fan backlash online, even as some season-ticket holders argued regular members paid far less than late buyers entering the market just before Wednesday's 7:30 p.m. opener.
