Adam Marcus Calls Val Kilmer the Worst Human Being Over 2008 Conspiracy Set Behavior

Adam Marcus said in a now-deleted Threads post that Val Kilmer was "the worst human being I've ever known," revisiting the actor's conduct during the 2008 thriller "Conspiracy."
Marcus wrote that if Kilmer had done "one-tenth" of what he allegedly did on set today, he would have been "cancelled in a blink," though the posts were later removed and USA TODAY sought comment from both sides.
"Conspiracy" was a direct-to-DVD film starring Kilmer as disabled special-ops veteran William "Spooky" MacPherson; the movie was poorly received and holds a 19% Popcornmeter rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Kilmer, who died in April 2025 at 65 after years of health struggles following a throat-cancer diagnosis, had acknowledged in his 2021 documentary "Val" that he had behaved "poorly" and "bizarrely" at times.
