Michael Brockers said Aaron Donald is "staying ready," fueling talk that the retired Rams star could return after Los Angeles acquired Myles Garrett in a blockbuster trade Monday.
Donald, 35, added to the speculation with an Instagram workout post tagged #ready and set to "Ain't Done," his clearest public hint since retiring after the 2023 season.
A comeback would reunite the Rams with a defender who made 10 straight Pro Bowls and finished his career with 111 sacks, 543 tackles and three Defensive Player of the Year awards.
Paired with Garrett — who set an NFL single-season record with 23 sacks last year and has 125.5 career sacks — Donald would give Los Angeles a front reminiscent of its 2021 Super Bowl defense.
