Less than six months after tearing his Achilles on Dec. 14, Daniel Jones was back on the Colts' practice field Wednesday for positional work during OTAs.
The appearance is an early sign of progress in his recovery from the Week 14 injury that ended a strong 2025 start, when Indianapolis won seven of its first eight games with Jones.
Indianapolis still committed to Jones this offseason, re-signing him to a 2-year, $88 million deal that can rise to $100 million despite the late-season setback.
His readiness for the Sept. 13 opener against Baltimore remains the next key question as the Colts move through voluntary spring practices.
