Two inbound commercial ships were observed in the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday morning, leaving traffic through the key waterway still severely limited.
Ship-tracking data compiled by Bloomberg showed those movements followed just two outbound commercial transits on Monday, for only four observed passages over roughly the past day.
The sparse traffic reflects continued uncertainty over whether a US-Iran peace deal will materialize, keeping shippers cautious in one of the world's most critical oil chokepoints.
