Owain Rhys Davies, the Welsh actor known for playing Agent Wilson in three episodes of Twin Peaks: The Return, has died suddenly at 44, his brother Rhodri Davies said.
Instagram posts from his family said the death appeared sudden, natural and peaceful, but added that questions about the circumstances remain unanswered and more information will follow.
Davies' screen career stretched back to 2001 and included roles in Netflix's The OA, 2016 film Alice Through the Looking Glass and 2019's A Serial Killer's Guide to Life.
Joanne Froggatt led tributes, calling Davies a "beautiful friend," as his family said the volume of messages reflected the breadth of his friendships and asked for privacy.
