Saturday night, Cristina Kirchner’s white corner apartment building in Buenos Aires was lit pink and overlaid with animated classicist columns to mimic Argentina’s Casa Rosada.

Kirchner, serving a 6-year house-arrest sentence on corruption charges, waved to backers from a Parisian-style balcony in an image echoing Eva Peron.
