OpenAI Rules Out PAC Funding and Campaign Donations, Says No Outside Group Speaks for It

OpenAI said it has made no donations to super PACs, political candidates or campaigns, and does not operate an employee-funded PAC.
The statement was issued after questions about the company’s political advocacy and its relationship with outside groups, especially Leading the Future.
OpenAI said President Greg Brockman and his wife Anna supported Leading the Future only in a personal capacity, and the company neither directs the group nor sees its operations.
The company said employees may engage in politics privately but do not represent OpenAI when they donate or advise campaigns.
