A weekend leak says Samsung’s Galaxy S27 Ultra could jump to a battery above 6,000mAh, ending seven straight Ultra generations capped at 5,000mAh.
The same specs point to a 6.9-inch M16 OLED, a 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip and LPDDR6 RAM, upgrades aimed at boosting both performance and efficiency.
Camera details in the leak keep the 200MP main, 50MP ultrawide and 50MP periscope setup but suggest 5x optical zoom, up from 3x on the S26 Ultra, alongside possible Qi2 charging.
A separate Korean report says Samsung is exploring liquid cooling for the S27 line, with a senior researcher saying commercialization may not be far off as the company pushes better heat dissipation.
Will Samsung's massive battery upgrade end charging anxiety, or does its new cooling system hide a greater safety risk?
With PC-like liquid cooling coming to phones, is the era of slim design over in the race for ultimate performance?
