Theos: Cities of Myth Targets 2026 PC Launch as Triskell Revives Zeus Formula

An early playtest of Theos: Cities of Myth showed Triskell building a clear spiritual successor to 2000's Zeus: Master of Olympus, with the Greek-myth city builder still slated for PC later in 2026.
Athens was the only campaign available in the rough build, where players expanded housing, food and water networks, and sanctuaries through the classic Impressions-style loop of walker-driven supply chains.
Triskell's biggest twist lets players draw walker routes directly instead of relying on buggy AI pathing, but the hands-on system added micromanagement and sometimes left parts of the city underserved in the test build.
The preview also flagged familiar concerns from 2023's Pharaoh: A New Era, with NPCs again seeming visually out of step with buildings and landscapes even as the core city-building remained enjoyable.
Announced earlier on June 1, the game is being published by Dotemu and will let players build a polis around 1 of 7 Greek deities rather than remake Zeus outright.
Can this 'Zeus' successor perfect the classic city-builder formula for its 2026 launch?
