Dubai is now Mehul Mohan’s base after the 27-year-old Fermion founder said he left Bengaluru and India indefinitely earlier this week.
Mohan said the move was “most definitely not a financial decision,” instead pointing to being “completely burned out” with the system in India and declining to give further details.
Last week, he said he would take a few weeks off after Fermion was acquired by Chennai-based software firm Testpress for an undisclosed amount, calling it a “clean exit” from his side.
Mohan said he is in the UAE on a resident visa, plans to seek a Golden Visa, and hopes Dubai will become his new home; he also said he eventually plans to bring his parents there.
