Trevor van Arragon will join Bank of Montreal on June 8 to head a newly created Canadian business banking division, according to an internal memo shared with Bloomberg.
BMO created the role to strengthen leadership in the business-banking segment, making the hire a targeted build-out rather than a routine executive replacement.
Van Arragon comes from Toronto-Dominion Bank after nearly 20 years there, most recently leading TD's merchant solutions business.
