The 2026 Tribeca Festival opens Wednesday and runs through June 14 with more than 118 feature films, 86 shorts and 103 world premieres from 44 countries.
The lineup comes as the festival marks its 25th anniversary, underscoring how the event founded by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff has grown into a 12-day annual showcase.
More than 5,000 films from 126 countries have screened at Tribeca over nearly 25 years, generating more than $1 billion for New York City.
The festival began in May 2002 to help revive lower Manhattan after the Sept. 11 attacks; its first edition drew more than 150,000 people and produced over $10 million in city economic activity.
