Foxworthy said his new Fox Nation special, "The Joke's On Me," could be his last full stand-up special, though he does not plan to quit performing entirely.
A year of club work goes into building a special, he said, and the effort now competes with a preference to spend more time with his grandkids.

Foxworthy said he first wrote 10 of those jokes and has since written more than 9,000, with the new special also showing the trial-and-error process behind crafting stand-up.
"The Joke's On Me" began streaming on Fox Nation on June 1.
