July 24 is the release date for Charli XCX’s seventh album, Music, Fashion, Film, which she confirmed while responding to polarized fan reactions to her latest singles.
In a TikTok video, Charli said the record is "really different" from 2024’s Brat and told fans they do not have to like it, framing the split response as a matter of personal taste.
That shift follows producers A.G. Cook and Finn Keane’s plan for a "complete opposite" follow-up: an "anti-Brat" approach that has already surfaced in rock-leaning, more organic tracks including Rock Music and SS26.
