Bracewell said Allison K. Perry has returned to its Houston office as a tax partner, moving back to private practice after seven years as Shell's US lead employment tax counsel.
Perry's practice spans employee benefits, executive compensation and employment tax, including ERISA compliance and compensation issues tied to acquisitions, dispositions and restructurings.
Bracewell said her return strengthens its ability to advise energy-sector clients on complex employment-related tax matters in transactions and ongoing operations.
Perry began at Bracewell in 2003, became senior counsel in 2014 and left for Shell in October 2018 before rejoining the firm in 2026.
