Xbox Sets June 7 Games Showcase, Gears of War Direct as 25th Anniversary Nears

June 7 at 10 a.m. Pacific, Xbox will stream its 2026 Games Showcase, with a Gears of War: E-Day Direct starting immediately after the main presentation.
Xbox said the event will mark its 25th year with world premieres, new gameplay and project updates from Xbox studios and global partners.
YouTube, Twitch, Steam and China’s Bilibili will carry the broadcast, with 13 live languages plus accessibility options including English audio descriptions, ASL and BSL feeds.
June 9 week podcast episodes and Xbox Wire recaps will extend the announcements after the show, while FanFest returns in Los Angeles for in-person viewing.
Matt Booty has already said the June 7 showcase will stay focused on games and teams, with no Project Helix next-generation console reveal expected.
