Eleven video testimonies compiled by Zeteo detail alleged torture and sexual violence against Western activists, journalists and humanitarians detained after Israel intercepted the Gaza-bound Global Sumud Flotilla.
At least 14 participants reported sexual abuse and 35 suffered broken ribs, organizers said, with other accounts describing rape, genital assaults, beatings, syringe pricks, concussions, bruises and nerve damage from tight handcuffs.
The detainees were released about a week before publication and arrived in Istanbul on May 21, after what the report calls an Israeli raid on a mission aimed at challenging Gaza’s siege.
