Incheon Port Authority broadened its third Port Industry Experience Career Camp by partnering with four institutions and opening participation to young people preparing for independent living after leaving child welfare facilities.
The expanded program adds the Incheon Metropolitan City Independence Support Center to connect those youths with job-matching opportunities, alongside Inha University's University Job Plus Center and Job More.
Day 1 featured IPA-led lectures on the port industry and jobs in global logistics, while Day 2 took participants aboard the eco-friendly Econuri for a pier operations tour.
IPA said the camp is part of a wider push to ease Incheon's youth employment crunch and that it plans to expand support programs for young job seekers.
