$1.04 billion is the enterprise value Hiab agreed to pay for Labrie Environmental Group, a refuse collection vehicle maker, in a deal announced Monday.
Hiab said the acquisition will strengthen its position in North America's waste and recycling market, adding scale in refuse collection vehicles.
Danske Bank and OP Corporate Bank have arranged financing for the purchase, giving the Finnish-listed company funding certainty ahead of closing.
The transaction is expected to complete in the third quarter of 2026, subject to the usual closing process.
