Labour MP Urges UK to Revoke Hasan Piker Visa Over 9/11, Hamas Remarks

David Taylor, Labour MP for Hemel Hempstead, asked the Home Office to revoke U.S. streamer Hasan Piker’s visa before his early-June appearance at SXSW London.
Taylor said Piker’s presence would be “not conducive to the public good,” citing past comments that “America deserved 9/11” and that he would vote for Hamas over Israel.
CST, a Jewish community security group, also pressed organizers to act responsibly, saying Britain should not give a platform to people spreading hatred or legitimizing extremism.
SXSW London said its event is designed for open exchange across a wide range of speakers and that inviting participants does not amount to endorsing their views or affiliations.
