Dell XPS 13 Leak Reveals $599 Starting Price and 1kg Chassis Ahead of Launch

$599 student pricing and a $699 regular starting price for Dell's unannounced XPS 13 surfaced after a leaked official press link exposed images, specs and US configurations.
The base model pairs Intel's Core 5 320 with 8GB of RAM, while higher SKUs add Thunderbolt 4, up to a Core Ultra 7 355, 32GB of RAM and as much as 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage.
At 1kg and 12.7mm thick, the 13.4-inch laptop uses a CNC-milled aluminum chassis and a 52Wh battery that Dell says can deliver up to 17 hours of video streaming.
The touchscreen display runs at 2,560 x 1,600 with a 30-120Hz refresh rate, 500 nits brightness and 100% DCI-P3 coverage, alongside Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, a 1080p webcam and quad speakers.
European pricing and availability remain undisclosed, leaving the US leak as the clearest early look at Dell's next XPS 13 before its official unveiling.
