Mark Gurman said Apple’s 2027 software cycle will be “far more significant” than the 2026 release, making iOS 28 the first rumored standout before iOS 27 is even unveiled.
No features were disclosed, but Gurman said iOS 28 is codenamed “Bell,” while macOS 28 carries the codename “Poppy.”
