MSI Unveils $1,599 MEG X AI Monitor With 34-Inch 360Hz QD-OLED at Computex 2026

$1,599 is the launch price for MSI's new MEG X, a 34-inch ultrawide monitor the company is pitching as the world's first agentic AI monitor.
Its headline feature is AI-driven settings control: users can ask the display to change brightness or enable functions like a crosshair, using monitor controls exposed through Windows instead of the usual on-screen display.
The panel runs at 3440x1440 and 360Hz on Samsung's 5th-generation QD-OLED, with MSI also touting up to 30% better light efficiency, 40% deeper blacks and 2.5x better scratch resistance.
MSI said the monitor is expected to go on sale from Aug. 5, but the voice-control feature was not yet available for hands-on demo.
The launch reflects Computex's broader AI push, though the report said several extra AI features—such as monitor-side upscaling—look less compelling than the simpler settings-control tool.
