Love Island USA Drops 25-Year-Old Vasana Montgomery Over N-Word Videos

Vasana Montgomery, 25, will no longer appear on “Love Island USA” after videos surfaced showing her using the n-word, just two days after Peacock unveiled the Season 8 cast.
Two clips circulating online appear to show Montgomery saying the slur at an arcade and while rapping in a car; the posts were reportedly from private accounts and may not have been visible during vetting.
The removal extends a second straight year of race-related cast exits on the dating series, which returns June 2 and will air daily through premiere week.
Last season, Yulissa Escobar was removed in Episode 2 over videos of her using the same slur, and Cierra Ortega later exited after using a racist term for Asian people.
